The Wood Anemone

The Wood Anemone was created in 1985 and represents Ekenäs.

The Wood Anemone represents Tammisaari. The root is where everything is born and returns. From the lower part to the upper part, there are eight rays that represent the seven different municipalities that owned the Tammisaari circuit hospital. In the lower left part, there is depicted a woman’s face with a child, symbolizing the maternity ward. The sculpture was made in 1985.
